Yes, things around here do look a little different!

Doggone it! Yes, apparently our server got malware and we had to reset it and re-install our database (blah blah blah). Bottom line? We apologize if you were inconvenienced in any way! We ARE back though, and this week you’ll be seeing some new changes… good changes… er… hopefully. While we are working on making the site better-than-ever, if you have suggestions, or have a bone to pick (had to say it), then please leave us a comment below. Many thanks!

I tend to like my entertainment to be “light.”  On occasion I will do some heavy, non-fiction reading, but really?  College cured me of that.  I still love my cop/lawyer shows, because you just cannot take criminal justice out of a woman.  Even if these days the crimes I deal with are mostly assault and battery (sibling rivalry) and theft (fruit snacks before dinner).

One of the hardest things about having more than child is that they all want their share of undivided attention.  This is relatively impossible.  With my husband working second shift, sometimes the mere idea of one on one time is enough to make me laugh hysterically.

Everyone has heard of the “terrible two’s.” The phrase is a misnomer. It gives new mommies the idea that they are free and clear until their darling offspring hits the two year mark. Ha! Experienced mothers can tell you that the reign of terror begins much, much earlier. Like when they begin to walk.
