Last week I rounded up a couple of buds and we went to a falls prevention and how to get our decrepit bodies up off the floor if we do fall. I have to confess I am a complete failure at it. The presentation was terrific. Don Rapp, 81 years old, got down on the floor, sprang up from the floor over and over, like a 25 year-old.
My lima beans are in search of a Potluck!
When I moved to Tallahassee, intending to stay for two years, now stretching to 22, I missed the festivals we could go to almost every weekend in Central Florida. There was Springtime Tallahassee, but really little else.
The repairman arrived, I apologized for the piles in the great room, but I had managed to clear the table of paperwork, stacking it under the appointment calendar I keep on the counter by the phone. Stuck a tablecloth and a couple of little wooden ducks in the center and ya’ know, it didn’t look half bad. I had washed dishes and wiped down counters, so it wasn’t as bad as it could be if you were seeing it for the first time.
