I really do not like to leave the house in the afternoon/evening. Nothing sounds better than lounging around sans bra, wearing elastic waist pants and my slippers! However, we had to go to Chuck E. Cheese’s tonight.

Toddlers have no survival instinct. NONE.
I think it is safe to say that one of the major factors of premature aging in mothers in the toddler phase. By the time they reach that adorable teen phase, we probably ARE old and have certainly earned every sign of aging we possess. It’s the toddler phase that gives us undeserved gray hair and wrinkles.
While I am in the throes of the visit of my Aunt Flo, my son has discovered that he is a boy.
Sure, we knew he was a boy. Could any other gender watch golf with dad and not will themselves to sleep? I think not.
JD is on a mission. He is the Lothario of Loveys. He just cannot commit to one lovey. One might say “but that goes against the very principle of a lovey!” That would be the person who never watched my son strip off his sock, clutch it to his cheek, suck his thumb, and be just fine.
Everyone has heard of the “terrible two’s.” The phrase is a misnomer. It gives new mommies the idea that they are free and clear until their darling offspring hits the two year mark. Ha! Experienced mothers can tell you that the reign of terror begins much, much earlier. Like when they begin to walk.
