The school tends to send home a pound of paper with the children every other day, so running across yet another note and calendar was not surprising. Sadly, this particular note stated that there would be no school next day due to the flu.

I really wish school would start back again. I know, I know, school just got out for a lot of your kids, and my daughter has been out since May 20th, but I am so ready for them to go back. In fact, I found myself saying this the first day of their summer break. Between the “I want thats,” the “I want this’s,” the tattle-taling (big pet peeve), the fighting, etc, etc, etc, I am ready to have some peace and quiet.
