There are things in this life worth remembering; motherhood is one of them. This is the creative haven for a great group of moms with a passion for living, laughing and flailing words of...er, wisdom.

MWAP, you are a leader and motivator! Just saying.

I don't think I have found my thing yet either, B. Like you said, we can write, but there are always people out there better and funnier. I can cook, but I have my limits. Hmm. Something to ponder at 3 AM tonight!

As I see, it your "Thing" or "GIFT" as I call it, is twofold, One is timing...your blogs , your jokes, your observations are always timed in a perfect manner that catches us at just the most appropriate times. I cant tell you how much I needed to see this today!

Secondly, your Insight and Relate-ability (is that a word?), you have an insightful unique way of seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary and challenging us all to stop and think for just a second about the bigger picture. Is there anyone you do not relate to. You have a way of taking people from all "walks" and bringing them together in some weird "commonality" of brotherhood.

Your "Thing" is YOU!, you make people, think, pay attention, laugh, you inspire us, you let us know its Ok to laugh at ourselves, and occasionally others....you remind us we all have faults that we can embrace but at the same time we all have a THING too!

Thank you for your friendship and your words!

Did the Adam's Family's "Thing" have a thing? Hmmm... It's late. I had a mug of caffeine-laden soda earlier. Forgive me.

I'm not sure what my thing is either. I love good food...yes, but who doesn't. It's not every day someone says, "That fritatta was crap! I ate it all because it was so good!" I don't do numbers. I'm Asian but I add like a 2-year-old. Madison's thing is she can build anything with Legos. I can't even do that. They crumble like dry Georgia clay in my hands.

Hmmmm... now I'll really have to think about this....borderline obsess about this. When you find me huddled in a corner, rocking back and forth...STILL with a blank look on my face...

Oh, and after that write, seriously...how can you say you don't have a thing? Awesome write....

Love it! Self-actualization is huge in our house. IMO it takes along time and effort to figure out. In kids, it doesn't always manifest early, I don't think.

I wish I knew you well enough to tell you what yours is. But you do write really funny, obnoxious Facebook statuses. ;-)
