No, I’m not talking about the secrets moms keep from the dads, from their kids, from the world. I am talking about the secrets moms keep from each other — specifically pregnant or new moms. I remember when I was pregnant, I got my fair share of birth stories. Okay, I got MORE than my fair share, and every mother does. We hear every horror story there is about labor and delivery. Heck, I know I share mine when the subject comes up, it’s almost uncontrollable! Except mine aren’t horror stories, as I had two lovely deliveries. Yes, it HURT, but what do you expect when you’re “squeezing something the size of a watermelon out an opening the size of a lemon”? (That line from “Look Who’s Talking” always stuck with me.)
